Baked Potato Slices with Cheese

Here’s a delicious recipe for baked potato rounds with cheese —crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and delicious!

Potato slices with cheese

Ingredients :

4 to 5 medium potatoes 🥔
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sweet paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder 🧄

Salt and pepper
Grated cheese (gruyere, mozzarella, cheddar…) 🧀
Fresh parsley (optional) 🌿

Preparation :

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices (about 5 mm). You can keep the skin on if they are well washed.
In a salad bowl , mix the slices with the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, without overlapping them.
Bake for about 25–30 minutes, until golden brown (turn them halfway through cooking for extra crispiness).
Remove from the oven , add a good layer of grated cheese on the slices and return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, until the cheese melts and browns.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley straight from the oven for a touch of color.

Serve hot as a side dish or as a delicious aperitif!
